RUBIK'S
MY
CUBE
Think of it logically!!
"HELP!"
"What cube would you recommend?"
"What lubricant should I use?"
"Why is my cube slowing down!?"
"How many cubes does the average cuber own?"
"What is a good time?"
"Is this website a scam/hoax/cheat?"
"How do I get faster?"
Email me, and tell me the specifics.
Honestly, I don't know anymore. Some own hundreds, some only own two. Some cubers have about a million 3x3's or 4x4's. I think that's a little over the top, I personally own about 5 3x3's and have a total of 23 different cubes.
Depends on your goals. If you want to compete seriously you should have an average somewhere between 7-18 seconds. If you're doing it for fun, not speed, you should be at about 40-50 seconds. If you are just thinking of competing, go for 15-25 second average.
NO. I make no money off of this, I do it for passion. You cannot buy anything from me, I don't own a bussiness, I only provide links for you. I made this for fun, not profit or whatever. I can't use your location/camra without your permission, and your computer would warn you. I cannot find out any credit card information, because there is nowhere you need to put it. The ONLY thing I will ever potentially know about you is your email and facebook. And you can create fake accouts to email me or comment on the page. Just make sure you check for a reply.
I went through this problem too. My Moyu Aolong was becomming sluggish. I found that taking apart the cube, and cleaning it with a dry cloth, or maybe those glasses wipe things, works wonders. I believe that this works because there are loose pieces of plastic that have fallen off the cube, and are hindering the turning action. Also, if you have lubricant that is too old, especially vaseline(petroleum jelly, like chapstick), I have found that it can make a cube slower.
Many cubers prefer lubix, but I personally prefer plain Maru lube.
For 3x3, I would reccommend a Moyu Aolong. If you would like to know about other cubes, email me.
You'll hate me for saying it, but pure raw practice. Find new methods, like fridrichs, and solve the cross on the bottom. Learn 1-look. If your still using LBL, or Beginners method, you won't be able to get too fast. The fastest cubers in the world use Fridrich's method, and solve the cross on the bottom. Also, your cube matters. Invest about fifteen dollars into the worlds best cubes, and do research on them before buying anything. Use your rescources, and(if you haven't already) get a job. Cubing expenses add up. Fast. Believe me, I know.
